What is the "Verification" filter and how does it help with my antibody search?

Applying the "Verification" filter will return antibodies that have been validated by knockout/knockdown/overexpression experiments, as well as figures in which these verified antibodies were used.

Antibody validation is undoubtedly one of the most important steps during the antibody search process. Of the 5 pillars of antibody validation, genetic validation using knockout/knockdown (KO/KD) and  overexpression (OE) experiments is the most commonly adopted method.

Using the "Verification" filter, you can easily find antibodies that have been verified by genetic validation and their usages in the literature on BenchSci.

You can find this new option under the "Product Specs" filter category.

Applying the verification filter will narrow down your product results to only include products that have an associated verification image, and will narrow down the figures where verified products were used:

To highlight verified antibodies and their usage in the literature, we added a new identifier to both the figure and product results to help you easily identify these data during your search.
