Exporting and sharing data

Can I export a list of products or citations from BenchSci?

Our users now have access to a new test feature built to export a list of product search results. You can capture specs like product names, catalog #s, Clone IDs, hosts, etc. for selected products (note checkboxes) in a .csv (see below). This should make sharing with colleagues, assembling flow cytometry panels, and keeping Electronic Lab Notebook records easier.

This is an evolving feature you can try by selecting a range of products and clicking the Export Selection button in the banner that appears at the bottom of the page (see below).

Selective export

Selective export captures up to 60 selected products in a .csv, including the specifications: Product name, Company, Catalog #, Clone ID, Conjugation, Host, Supplier product page URL, and BenchSci product page URL.

Let us know if there’s anything else that would be useful to have when exporting products by sending us a message.

As before, you can still share the individual figures and products you find with your colleagues (or yourself) by email by clicking on the “Share by Email” button present on most pages BenchSci.

You can also add figures or products to your favourites by clicking on the heart. Or, you can add them to a Folder by clicking the “Add to Folder” button and share the entire folder by email by going to Favourites > My Folders.
